Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to help individuals with IDD complete daily living tasks in their homes and communities. You will provide compassionate care, assist with housekeeping, meals, personal care, and transportation as needed.

This part-time opportunity offers on-the-job training, flexible schedules, and benefits including a competitive $15/hour rate, a 403(b) plan, and an Employee Assistance Program.

Qualifikationen

• Entry-level role with on-the-job training provided.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic housekeeping, basic nutrition, and safety protocols knowledge.
• Interpersonal skills, attention to detail, dependability.
• Proficiency with EHR systems or ability to learn quickly.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and auto insurance.

• Provide care in the home and community setting.
• Assist with daily tasks: housekeeping, meals, personal care.
• Transport client to appointments and run errands.
• Plan and organize the client's schedule.
• Document and report in the health system.
