Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist individuals with IDD in home and community settings. You will help with daily living tasks, personal care, and transportation, documenting care in our EHR system. No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.

The role offers flexible schedules, a supportive team, and opportunities to grow within a nonprofit focused on empowering families and individuals to live independently.

Qualifications

• Entry-level role; on-the-job training provided.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of basic housekeeping, basic nutrition, and safety protocols.
• Strong interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and dependability.
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and auto insurance.

Responsabilités

• Provide in-home and community-based care.
• Assist with housekeeping, meal prep, cooking, cleaning; personal care.
• Transport clients to appointments and run errands.
• Plan and organize daily schedules.
• Document and report in the electronic health record.
