Job summary

My Life My Home is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide compassionate care in our CILA homes housing 4-6 residents. You will support residents in daily activities, meals, personal care, hygiene, and routine documentation, aligning with each care plan.

Starting wage is $19.05–$21.05 per hour with a $1.00 raise after completing medication pass certification. This role may require evening shifts and a valid driver’s license. EOE Employer.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver's license and fewer than 3 driving offenses.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Criminal background check and physical are required to meet position requirements.
• Background check includes the DCFS/CANTS check for abuse/neglect of children.
• Reading and comprehension quiz will be completed at the interview.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily activities and routines in their home.
• Provide personal care, help with meals, hygiene, and grooming, and assist with daily documentation and care plans.
