Job summary

Help at Home is seeking a Direct Support Professional to deliver safe, confidential care and assist individuals with daily living activities. You will document progress, support independence, and coordinate with the Designated Developmental Professional and local staff to ensure quality care.

We offer flexible schedules with day, evening, and weekend shifts. Starting pay is $14.00 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement and opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• No prior experience needed to start training.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; literacy test may be used as alternative.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, confidential, and respectful care at all times.
• Provide verbal and/or physical prompts to support daily living activities and promote independence.
• Accurately document progress toward individual goals and maintain logs.
• Collaborate with DDP and local office staff to ensure quality care.
