Job summary

Bridgewell is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide care and daily living skills support to individuals with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities. The role focuses on assisting with activities of daily living, community integration, and personalized care in a residential setting.

Shifts are Monday and Saturday evenings (5:00PM–11:00PM), with responsibilities including documentation, safety, and coordination of resources.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or 5+ years of verified experience in the same position.
• Experience with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to drive a large wheelchair van and hold a valid US driver''s license with minimum 1 year of driving experience in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assist people with skills training in activities of daily living.
• Assist people to develop independence and decision-making.
• Follow regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies.
• Manage medical, clinical, and financial needs for people in services.
• Transport and accompany people to activities outside the program.
• Maintain daily progress notes and required documentation.
• Complete household cleaning duties as assigned.
• Attend program staff meetings and supervision meetings.
