Job summary

WellLife Network is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist New Yorkers with developmental disabilities in homes and communities. You’ll provide personal care, wellness support, mobility help, and advocacy while fostering independence.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, coordinating with healthcare providers, and encouraging community engagement. A high school diploma and fluent English are required; a NY driver’s license with 2+ years of driving experience is needed for

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency required.
• Fluent English for client communication required.
• New York State driver’s license with at least 2 years of driving experience required.
• Comfort operating a large vehicle for driving positions.
• Experience supporting adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs preferred.
• Patience, compassion, and dedication to empowering others.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Help with meal planning, cooking, chores, and creating a safe home environment.
