Job summary

WellLife Network is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide hands-on care and advocacy for New Yorkers with developmental disabilities and other support needs. You will assist with daily living, support independence, and help individuals engage in community activities.

We value patience, compassion, and strong communication. A high school diploma and a valid NY driver’s license for driving roles are required where applicable; benefits include health coverage and retirement options.

Qualifications

• Fluent English required for client communication.
• Patience, compassion, and dedication to empowering others.
• Experience or willingness to learn in developmental disability support is valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care, encouragement, and advocacy for individuals served.
• Assist with daily living activities and help build community connections.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and team members for holistic care.
• Maintain accurate records including daily notes and progress reports in electronic systems.
• Support individuals in navigating services and participating in community activities.
