Job summary

WellLife Network is seeking Direct Support Professionals to help New Yorkers with developmental disabilities live independently. You will provide hands-on care, advocacy, and support to build community connections and enhance daily functioning.

The role emphasizes personal care, health management, mobility assistance, and collaboration with a care team to maintain accurate records. A NY driver’s license and fluency in English are required or strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Fluent English for client communication.
• New York State Driver’s License with at least 2 years of driving experience.
• Comfort operating a large vehicle for driving positions.
• Experience with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Administer medications as directed and support medical appointments.
