Job summary

WellLife Network is seeking Direct Support Professionals to support New Yorkers with developmental disabilities in homes and communities. You will provide hands-on care, advocacy, and daily living assistance, helping individuals achieve goals and live fulfilling lives.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, fluent English, and a NY driver's license with at least 2 years of driving experience. A large vehicle may be required for some positions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalency required.
• Fluent in English for client communication.
• NY State Driver's License with at least 2 years of driving experience.
• Comfort operating a large vehicle for driving positions.
• Experience with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and daily living support (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting).
• Assist with meals, housekeeping, and creating a safe home environment.
• Administer medications as directed and accompany medical appointments.
