Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living meaningful, self-directed lives. Under supervision, you will provide direct support, teach skills, and facilitate activities aligned with each participant's PCP.

You will lead small groups, support ADLs, monitor safety, document progress, and collaborate with families and professionals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain it.
• DOJ fingerprint clearance and pre-employment screening required.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered supervision and instruction to promote independence.
• Develop curriculum for learning, social, pre-vocational, and community activities.
• Assist with ADLs and personal care as needed.
• Support PCP goals and document progress accurately.
• Ensure safety and respond to emergencies.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
