Job summary

Paycom - ATS is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist clients with daily living tasks, implement individualized plans, document progress, and ensure safety. The role may be full-time or part-time and requires compliance with policies and procedures.

The DSP will support supervision requirements, respond to service needs, and maintain professional relationships with clients and families while adapting to varying shifts and settings.

Qualifications

• Must document daily client progress accurately.
• Must read/write/speak English at required level.
• May be asked to follow dress code guidelines.
• Able to move throughout the workday and lift clients if needed.
• Capable of independent decision making when appropriate.
• Shows initiative and can adapt to changing circumstances.
• Willing to cook and perform light house cleaning as needed.
• Develops professional relationships with clients and families; collaborates with staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage activities of daily living and promote independence.
• Document client progress and program data daily.
• Provide feedback on programs to the Coordinator.
• Implement daily schedules and behavior plans as required.
• Maintain knowledge of client history and emergency procedures.
• Advocate for client needs and offer creative options.
• Coordinate meals, hygiene tasks, and safety drills.
• Document all activities and report incidents per policy.
• Assist with transportation and community integration where needed.
• Assist with financial handling and communications with team.
