Venture Community Services in Massachusetts is seeking a Direct Support Professional to empower adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities through compassionate care, household tasks, and community engagement.

The role offers paid training, a $1,000 sign-on bonus for full-time staff, and a pay rate of $17.50–$19.00 per hour, with part-time scheduling options. This position emphasizes teamwork and ongoing education within an inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults 22 and over with intellectual and developmental disabilities by empowering them to be active in their lives.
• Assist with household maintenance, meal prep, shopping, bathing, toileting, dressing and personal care.
• Assist them to medical appointments, banking, and community outings; follow plans and medical guidelines.
• Follow DDS policies and participate in trainings.
