Job summary

Venture Community Services seeks a Direct Support Professional to empower adults with developmental disabilities in Southbridge, MA. This part-time position offers a pay rate of $17.50–$19.00 per hour, plus paid training and a sign-on bonus of $1000 for full-time or $500 for part-time staff.

The DSP will assist with daily living activities, accompany clients to appointments, support community involvement, and follow individual plans to promote independence and safety.

Qualifications

• Fluent English spoken, read and written.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Commitment to helping people with disabilities participate in the community.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities in daily living activities.
• Accompany clients to medical appointments, banking, or community events.
• Follow Individual Support Plans and medical guidelines.
• Ensure safety and proper care during shifts.
