Chimes is a not-for-profit organization that supports people with intellectual and behavioral challenges to reach their fullest potential. This full-time, on-site Direct Support Professional role is based in Baltimore, MD, and offers compensation of $19.75 per hour.

The position involves working in the residence of a person served, providing personal support, training, safety, and daily living assistance, with CPR/medical knowledge and documentation responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull to assist individuals served (may exceed 50 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Work in the residence providing personal support and ensuring programs and activities are carried out.
• Train adults with developmental disabilities to promote growth toward independence.
• Use approved behavior plans and maintain safety and well-being.
• Administer medications per PMOF and MAR with three-way checks.
• Coordinate with day program staff and communicate needs to supervisors.
