Chimes is seeking a Direct Support Professional for a Monday-Friday 8a-4p shift in Baltimore, MD. The role provides personal support in a residential setting, helping individuals with developmental disabilities engage in daily activities and community participation.

Primary tasks include supervision, skill-building, and adherence to individualized plans, with medication assistance and safety oversight as needed. The position is full-time and on-site with benefits typical of nonprofit providers.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have a driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push adequate weight (may exceed 50 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Work in the residence of a person served as a personal support, ensuring programs and activities are carried out.
• Provide supervision and training to adults with developmental disabilities to promote growth toward goals.
• Teach and instruct individuals to do as much as possible for themselves per program plans.
