Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Direct Support Professional for on-site engagement in a residential setting in Baltimore, MD. The role supports individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges, implementing individual plans and ensuring activities and programs run smoothly.

Responsibilities include medication administration, transportation, personal care and skill-building, while maintaining safety and personalized home environments.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have a driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Must be able to lift, pull, and push weight to assist individuals; may exceed 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal support in the residence and ensure programs and activities are carried out.
• Supervise and train adults with developmental disabilities toward independence.
• Ensure the house is personalized to each person's preferences and personality.
• Administer correct and timely medication per PMOF and MAR with three-way checks.
• Transport persons served to appointments, activities, and community outings.
• Attend scheduled meetings with the BSS Program Manager or designee.
