Job summary

Chimes seeks a dedicated direct-support professional to provide personal assistance in the residence of a person served, promoting independence and quality of life in Baltimore. You will work within approved plans and support activities in home and community settings.

Responsibilities include supervision, daily living skills coaching, and safe medication administration, with a focus on respectful, person-centered care and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have a driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift, pull, and push adequate weight to assist individuals supported.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in daily living activities at home and in the community.
• Provide supervision and training to adults with developmental disabilities.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness in the home and implement program plans.
• Administer medication as directed and follow PMOF/MAR procedures.
• Communicate needs and house operations to supervisor and care team.
