Job summary

Chimes is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) in Maryland. You’ll empower individuals with intellectual and behavioral challenges to live with dignity, independence, and confidence, while working in a supportive team. Compensation is $19.75 per hour with paid training and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in disability services preferred but training is provided.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull 50+ lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver's license with acceptable driving history.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support with kindness and respect.
• Assist with personal care and daily living skills.
• Follow individualized care plans and document progress.
• Administer medications per policy.
• Maintain a safe, clean and supportive environment.
• Use approved behavior support techniques.
• Encourage community engagement and participation.
• Some roles may require travel between Residential and Day programs.
