Job summary

WellLife Network seeks a Direct Support Professional to provide hands-on care, encouragement, and advocacy for individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities across New York.

Responsibilities include personal care and daily living support, health and wellness assistance, mobility aid and safety, behavioral and emotional support, community engagement, and accurate documentation in electronic systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Fluent English for client communication.
• Valid New York State driver's license with at least 2 years of driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on personal care and daily living support.
• Assist with meal preparation and home management.
• Administer medications as directed and coordinate medical appointments.
• Support mobility and safe navigation of living environments.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in electronic systems.
