WellLife Network in New York is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with developmental disabilities in living independently at home and in the community. You will provide hands-on care, support daily living activities, and advocate for clients to access needed services.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency required.
• Experience with adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities or behavioral health conditions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on care, encouragement, and advocacy for individuals.
• Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal prep.
• Support health and wellness by aiding medical appointments and treatment plans.
• Assist with mobility, safe transfers, and accessibility within living environments.
• Plan and participate in recreational, educational, and social activities to foster belonging.
• Communicate effectively to help individuals express needs and advocate for services.
• Maintain accurate records and daily notes in electronic systems.
