Job summary

OneWell Health Care is seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support individuals with IDD in home and community settings. You will implement individualized plans, promote independence, and assist with daily living activities, meals, mobility, and transportation under supervision.

The role requires strong communication in English, valid driver's license where required, and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• English proficiency required; bilingual is a plus.
• Experience in caregiving or direct support preferred.
• Ability to use electronic documentation and EVV systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent, respectful, high-quality support per care plan.
• Assist with personal care and daily living activities.
• Support meal preparation, nutrition, mobility, and medication administration as authorized.
• Implement behavior support strategies.
• Monitor health, safety, and emotional well-being.
• Maintain routines to promote independence and community participation.
• Assist with transportation to appointments or community events.
• Participate in trainings and team meetings; maintain documentation.
• Provide flexible coverage during staffing shortages and follow regulatory standards.
