Venture Community Services provides compassionate support to individuals facing diverse challenges, promoting independence and empowerment. The Direct Support Professional will help adults with disabilities participate fully in their lives and communities.

The DSP role offers paid training, a sign-on bonus, and a full-time schedule with opportunities to grow through ongoing education and a supportive work environment.

Qualifications

• Commitment to assisting people with varying disabilities to participate fully in their community and in their own lives.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the program and individuals supported.

Responsibilities

• Advocate and support adults 22+ with intellectual and developmental disabilities to be active in daily life.
• Assist with household tasks, meal preparation, shopping, personal care, and transportation.
• Accompany to medical/appointments, community activities, outings; follow MAP and support plans.
• Maintain safety, follow DDS policies, and participate in ongoing training.
