Job summary

Marrakech, Inc. is seeking dependable Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with developmental and physical disabilities in a residential group home. You will support daily living, attend medical appointments, and follow individualized plans to promote independence and safety.

Paid training is provided. Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, a Connecticut driver’s license, and the ability to obtain DDS Medication Certification, CPR, and First Aid.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Connecticut Driver’s License required.
• Ability to obtain DDS Medication Certification, CPR, and First Aid.
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities is helpful—but not required. Paid training provided.

About the Role

You'll help people live safe, fulfilling lives while building trusting relationships that encourage independence and personal choice.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with daily living skills such as personal care, meals, and routines
• Supporting medical needs and appointments
• Following individualized support and behavior plans
• Encouraging community involvement and social engagement
• Completing routine overnight safety checks (for overnight staff)
• Working collaboratively as part of a compassionate, supportive team

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience supporting individuals with disabilities is helpful—but not required. We provide paid training to help you succeed.

Pay

• $19.28 per hour
• Additional $0.50 per hour with DDS Medication Certification
• Certification can be obtained after hire if not already certified
