Job summary

Marrakech, Inc. in Connecticut seeks a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist individuals with developmental and physical disabilities in a residential group home setting.

You will help residents live safely and with independence, building trusting relationships that encourage personal choice. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living, supporting medical needs, following support and behavior plans, encouraging community involvement, and collaborating with a compassionate team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Connecticut Driver’s License is required.
• Ability to obtain DDS Medication Certification, CPR, and First Aid.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with daily living skills such as personal care, meals, and routines

• Encouraging community involvement and social engagement
• Completing routine overnight safety checks (for overnight staff)
• Working collaboratively as part of a compassionate, supportive team

We're seeking reliable, compassionate individuals who are motivated to make a difference.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Connecticut Driver’s License

Experience supporting individuals with disabilities is helpful—but not required. We provide paid training to help you succeed.

Pay

• $19.28 per hour
• Additional $0.50 per hour with DDS Medication Certification

Certification can be obtained after hire if not already certified
