Job summary

Marrakech, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist individuals with developmental and physical disabilities in a residential group home setting. You will support daily living skills, health needs, and personal choices in a safe, respectful environment.

Paid training is provided; we value reliability, compassion, and teamwork as you help residents live as independently as possible while participating in community and social activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Connecticut Driver’s License required.
• Ability to obtain DDS Medication Certification, CPR, and First Aid.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living skills such as personal care, meals, and routines.
• Support medical needs and appointments.
• Follow individualized support and behavior plans.
• Encourage community involvement and social engagement.
• Complete routine overnight safety checks (for overnight staff).
• Work collaboratively as part of a compassionate, supportive team.

About the Role

You'll help people live safe, fulfilling lives while building trusting relationships that encourage independence and personal choice.

Your responsibilities may include:

• Assisting with daily living skills such as personal care, meals, and routines
• Supporting medical needs and appointments
• Following individualized support and behavior plans
• Encouraging community involvement and social engagement
• Completing routine overnight safety checks (for overnight staff)
• Working collaboratively as part of a compassionate, supportive team

What We’re Looking For

We're seeking reliable, compassionate individuals who are motivated to make a difference.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

Experience supporting individuals with disabilities is helpful—but not required. We provide paid training to help you succeed.

Pay

• $19.28 per hour
• Additional $0.50 per hour with DDS Medication Certification

Certification can be obtained after hire if not already certified
