Job summary

BAYADA is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) in Asheville, NC area. You’ll provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, helping them build confidence and independence. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered after completing 100 hours of work, with flexible part-time schedules and opportunities to grow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 18 years of age.
• One year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred.
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients to appointments and activities.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals participate in community activities and social events
• Provide encouragement, mentorship, and meaningful companionship
• Support personal care needs, including dressing and grooming
• Transport clients to appointments, errands, and community outings
• Empower individuals to reach their goals and live as independently as possible
