BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work one-on-one in clients' homes and communities, helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities build life skills and independence.

The role offers flexible PRN scheduling across multiple shifts and locations, with compensation starting at $18/hour and mileage reimbursement options. BAYADA emphasizes growth, training, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (18+).
• Flexible to work a variety of shifts and locations.
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive clients to activities.
• Willingness to travel between clients within the assigned area.

Responsibilities

• Support daily routines like dressing, grooming, and personal care.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, and community outings.
• Engage in hobbies, activities, and meaningful social interaction.
• Assist with daily living tasks, including meal preparation.
• Help individuals stay active, connected, and engaged in their communities.

What We're Looking For in Our Direct Support Professionals (DSP):

• 1+ year of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
• High school diploma or equivalent (18+)
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts and locations
