Job summary

BAYADA Home Health Care in Hickory, North Carolina, is seeking Direct Support Professionals to provide compassionate one-on-one care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. You will work independently in clients' homes, assisting them with everyday tasks and personal care.

Qualifications

• At least one year of verified experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• Ability to assist with personal care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Work independently in a client's home/community.
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments.
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation.
• Participate in community integration activities.
• Provide personal care assistance (dressing, grooming, etc.)

$500 Sign on Bonus Buncombe and McDowell counties!

Bonus paid in full after successfully completing 100 hours of work.

Job Responsibilities of a Home Care Direct Support Professional:

• Ability to work independently in a client's home/community
