Redwood Family Care Network in Brentwood, CA seeks a Direct Support Professional to support individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting health, safety and well-being. This full-time role offers AM and PM shifts and an hourly rate of $17.50–$19.00, with duties including routine planning and client transport when needed.

Qualifications include DSP Year 1–2 certificates (within 12 months), First Aid/CPR and CPI preferred or willing to obtain, must be 21+, and hold a California driver’s

Responsibilities

• Outline and prepare daily routine for clients as per Individual Program Plan.
• Assist clients with bathroom needs and personal care.
• Change client clothing if needed and assist with dressing.
• Prepare daily meals and assist with cleanup.
• Pick up or drop off clients in company vans if needed.

Job Title: Direct Support Professional
Hourly Rate: $17.50- $19.00/hr. Depending on Certifications

Here’s What You’ll Do:

TheDirect Support Professionalsupports individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting their health, safety and well-being. Our Direct Support Professionals proudly serve as an advocate to improve the overall quality of life for our clients.

Essential Functions:

• Outline and prepare daily routine(s) for clients' (visual and active) as written in Individual Program Plan.
• Assist clients with bathroom needs.
• Change clients' undergarments and/or clothing if needed.
• Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up.
• Pick-up/drop-off clients in company vans from/to their home/facility (if necessary).

Education and Experience:

• Direct Support Professional Certificate – DSP Year 1 & Year 2 (Must obtain within first 12 months of Hire)
• First Aid/CPR & CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention (Preferred or willing to obtain)
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a California Driver’s License
• Candidate must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including but not limited to a background check.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 30lbs.
• Able to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
