Job summary

Redwood Family Care Network is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Stockton, CA for full-time AM shift work (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM on varying days). The DSP will promote health, safety and well-being, advocating to improve clients’ quality of life in a home/community setting.

Responsibilities include creating routines, assisting with daily living activities, and supporting mobility and meals. Requires DSP certificates, RBT within 1 year, willingness to obtain First Aid/CPR & CPI, 21+ and CA

Qualifications

• Direct Support Professional Certificate – DSP Year 1 & Year 2 required within first 12 months of hire.
• RBT certification within the 1st Year of Employment.
• First Aid/CPR & CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention (Preferred or willing to obtain).
• Must be at least 21 years of age and must have a California Driver's License.
• Candidate must successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including a background check.

• Outline and prepare daily routine(s) for clients' (visual and active) as written in Individual Program Plan.
• Assist clients with bathroom needs.
• Change clients' undergarments and/or clothing if needed.
• Prepare daily meals and assist with clean-up.
• Pick-up/drop-off clients in company vans from/to their home/facility (if necessary).

Here's What You'll Do:

TheDirect Support Professionalsupports individuals with developmental disabilities by promoting their health, safety and well-being. Our Direct Support Professionals proudly serve as an advocate to improve the overall quality of life for our clients.

Shift Needed:

Wednesday - Sunday 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Sunday- Thursday 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Essential Functions:

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to lift 30lbs.
• Able to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
