Job summary

Bancroft is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) for the Lakeside Day Program in Mullica Hill, NJ. This onsite, full-time role offers a 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 8a–4p) with a competitive hourly wage and benefits.

You will support autistic and developmentally challenged individuals with daily living tasks, data collection, and transportation to appointments. 18+, HS diploma or GED, and valid driver’s license required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License in the candidate's legal name and current address. One year minimum driving experience.
• Minimum of six months related work experience OR Bachelor’s degree or current enrollment in a degree program in Psychology, Social Work, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Carry out behavioral treatment plans and collect direct observational data.
• Assist with daily living activities (hygiene, meal prep, money management, housekeeping).
• Provide personal care and supervision; teach daily living and functional skills.
• Accompany individuals to healthcare appointments and community outings; provide safe transportation.
• Complete paperwork and maintain regular communication with residents, guardians, and family.
