Job summary

Bancroft’s Lakeside Campus in Woodstown, NJ is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to empower individuals with autism and developmental disabilities. You will carry out behavioral plans, support daily living skills, and accompany clients to appointments.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 1 year driving experience.
• Minimum six months related work experience or Bachelor’s degree/current enrollment in Psychology/Social Work or related field.
• Aspired to work with autistic, intellectually and developmentally challenged individuals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out behavioral treatment plans and collect direct observational data.
• Assist with daily living activities including hygiene, meals, and housekeeping.
• Provide personal care and supervision, teaching daily living skills.
• Accompany individuals to healthcare appointments and community outings, provide safe transportation.
• Resolve problem behavior situations and document per safety standards.
