Colonial Group is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Aide in El Cajon, CA. You will support individuals with developmental disabilities in day programs and residential settings, assisting with personal care, meals, mobility, and community engagement to promote independence.

The role emphasizes teamwork, compassion, and strong communication, with documentation of progress required. A high school diploma or GED is needed; bilingual English/Spanish and Therap experience are a plus.

Competenze

• Six months of experience with individuals with disabilities is preferred.

About the Role:

Are you passionate about making a positive impact? As a Direct Support Professional (DSP) Aide, you'll provide hands-on support to individuals with developmental disabilities in both day programs and residential settings. Working closely with a team, you will assist with personal care, daily living activities, and community engagement to help individuals achieve their goals and enhance their independence.

Location: El Cajon

Schedule: Mon- Fri 8:30a-3p

Pay: The pay for this position is $18.00 to $18.65.

A typical day will include:

• Assisting individuals with personal care, meals, and mobility support.
• Encouraging participation in daily activities and community outings.
• Helping individuals build relationships and develop independence.
• Documenting daily activities and progress using case management software.

What you'll need to be successful:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Six (6) months experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
• Ability to provide person-centered support in a respectful and inclusive way.

We'd love it if you:

• Are bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Have experience using case management systems (Therap preferred).
