Job summary

Help at Home is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. We offer a $1,000 sign-on bonus for joining the team, with competitive pay and benefits.

As a DSP, you will provide one-on-one support, help with daily living activities, and promote independence. Flexible schedules, paid training, and mileage reimbursement accompany opportunities for growth and meaningful caregiving work.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or state-approved training program.
• Background check and required in-service trainings.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with proof of insurance, inspection and registration.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities at home and in the community.
• Assist with daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, personal care, or transportation.
• Encourage participation in social and community activities.
• Document care, activities, and progress accurately.
• Communicate with team to ensure consistent, quality support.
