Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Berwyn, PA, is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist adults with developmental disabilities in daily living activities, health and hygiene, cooking, and recreation. You will document reports and help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of relevant experience, a high school diploma or GED, must be 21+, and possess a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience working with adults and/or children with special needs.
• High School Diploma or GED required; diplomas earned outside the US must be evaluated.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily living activities including health and hygiene management.
• Prepare meals, clean, provide recreation, and document shift, incident, and progress reports.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment meeting physical, emotional and personal needs.
