Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a Direct Support Professional for adult services on our Berwyn/Downingtown area programs. You will assist adults with daily living activities, health and hygiene, cooking, cleaning and recreation, while documenting progress and reports to support self-fulfillment and social integration.

The role emphasizes empathetic, team-based care with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; diplomas earned outside the US must be evaluated.
• One year of human service experience with children, adolescents, and adults preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age; must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily living activities including health and hygiene management, cooking, cleaning, recreation and documentation (shift, incident, progress reports).
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment addressing physical, emotional and personal needs of individuals served.
