Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking Direct Support Professionals to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Berwyn, PA. You will help with daily living tasks, documentation, and provide supportive, compassionate care in a supervised setting.

Qualifications

• Empathetic and a team player with strong communication skills.
• Be at least 21 years old and have a valid driver's license.
• Be able to complete required new hire orientation class and demonstrate passion for helping individuals with special needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist adults with daily living activities, health and hygiene, cooking, cleaning and recreation.
• Document shift reports, incident reports and individual progress reports.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment in line with behavioral health goals.
