Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist adults with daily living activities, health and hygiene, and documentation. You will help create a safe, supportive environment and promote independence and well-being.

The role requires at least 1 year of experience with individuals with special needs, a high school diploma or GED, and a valid driver's license. You should be empathetic, communicative, energetic, and committed to positive care.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience working with adults and/or children with special needs.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Have a valid drivers license.
• Be empathetic, a team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills, energetic and passionate about helping others.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily living activities, including health and hygiene management.
• Documentation of shift reports and individual progress notes.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for individuals served.
• Support activities that promote social integration and personal development.
