Job summary

Help at Home is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one assistance to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. You will help with daily living tasks, participate in activities, and support toward personal goals.

Starting pay ranges from $18 to $20 per hour, with a $1,000 sign-on bonus for eligible new hires and flexible scheduling options. Benefits include health coverage, paid time off, and mileage reimbursement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a state-approved training program preferred.
• Ability to pass the required written competency test.

Responsibilities

• Help individuals build daily living skills and participate in their communities.
• Follow each individual's Support Plan and report progress to the IDD Program Specialist.
• Assist with cooking, cleaning, grooming, transportation, and community activities.
• Document services and communicate with team for consistent support.
• Promote dignity, personal choice, and self-advocacy.
