Job summary

Help at Home is hiring a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. You will help with daily living skills, promote independence, and ensure safety and dignity.

The role offers competitive pay of $18–$20 per hour, a $1,000 sign-on bonus for eligible new hires, paid training, health benefits, PTO, and mileage reimbursement for eligible travel.

Qualifications

• Requires 18 years or older.
• Background checks required and in-service training.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with daily living activities such as cooking, cleaning, grooming, and transportation.
• Help individuals build daily living skills and participate in community activities.
• Document services and progress accurately and communicate with team members.
