Job summary

Bridgewell is seeking a Direct Support Professional to provide daily living support for individuals with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities within our residential programs. You will assist with activities of daily living, skill-building, and community integration, under supervision and in accordance with regulatory standards.

You will document progress, coordinate with care teams, and participate in safety, training, and program meetings.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED is required, or 5+ years of verified experience in the same position.
1 year of experience with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, and comfort with documenting care procedures.

Responsibilities

Provide support and assist people with skills training in daily living activities.
Help people develop independence and decision-making through everyday tasks.
Follow regulatory standards and Bridgewell policies in all duties.
Assist with medical, clinical, and financial needs of residents.
Transport residents to medical appointments and community activities.
Maintain progress notes, shift checklists, and required documentation.
Perform household cleaning duties and assist with care tasks as needed.
Adhere to safety guidelines and participate in meetings and trainings.
