Job summary

Bridgewell seeks a Direct Support Professional to provide daily living skills support to individuals with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities in residential and community settings. You will deliver supervision, skills training, and assist with medical and daily tasks.

Duties include documentation, coordinating with guardians and staff, transporting clients, and maintaining safety. Requires HS diploma or 5+ years' experience; CPR/FA; valid driver license; CORI processing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or 5+ years of verified experience required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide skills training in activities of daily living across day/evening/overnight hours.
• Foster independence by enabling people to make decisions and develop skills.
• Follow regulatory standards (DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, CARF) and Bridgewell policies.
• Assist with medical, clinical and financial needs of people in services.
• Transport and accompany clients to activities outside the program.
• Maintain daily progress notes, shift checklists and required documentation.
• Perform household cleaning duties and other assigned tasks.
• Conduct steady care calls during awake overnight shifts.
