Job summary

Friendship Community Care is seeking a Direct Support Professional in Huntsville, AR. This part-time daytime position supports clients with daily living activities and participates in an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and healthy care within home and community settings.

Responsibilities include assisting with showers, dressing, meals, budgeting, transportation, and documentation. A high school diploma or GED and a valid Arkansas driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two+ years' experience working with developmentally disabled individuals preferred.
• Must have a valid Arkansas driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with basic living skills and daily tasks (showers, dressing, housekeeping, meals, budgeting).
• Provide transportation to activities/appointments with valid license.
• Maintain communication through logs, meetings and progress notes.
