Friendship Community Care is seeking a Part-Time Direct Support Professional to join an interdisciplinary team in Russellville, AR. The role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, transportation, and documenting care plans in a home and community setting.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; or two+ years' experience working with developmentally disabled individuals. Must have a valid driver's license.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; ability to write simple correspondence; present information in small groups.

Responsibilities

Assist clients in basic living skills and daily personal tasks (showering, dressing, housekeeping, meals, budgeting).
Provide transportation to activities/appointments; valid Arkansas driver’s license required.
Maintain communication via facility logbook and staff meetings about clients' needs and progress.
Complete required documentation (Behavioral/Incident/Personal Care forms, etc.) and maintain records per Medicaid guidelines.
Report incidents immediately; this is a safety sensitive position.
Assist in Plan of Care to ensure health, safety, and security; monitor and document medication management.
Organize and carry out recreational activities for clients.
