Friendship Community Care in Arkansas is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist clients with daily living skills in home and community settings, ensuring safety, dignity, and high-quality care as part of an interdisciplinary team.

The role includes helping with personal care, meals, budgeting, transportation, documentation, and adherence to HIPAA policies. Requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid Arkansas driver’s license, with a weekend schedule.

Formación

• Basic ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and forms.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and documentation procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Assist clients with daily living activities (showering, dressing, meals).
• Provide transportation to activities and appointments as needed with a valid Arkansas license.
• Complete and maintain required documentation (behavioral reports, incident reports, progress notes).
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance; communicate client needs with the team.
• Support formulation and implementation of the client’s plan of care and monitor safety.
