Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC in North Carolina is hiring a Direct Support Mentor-Waiver to provide support in residential and day settings, mentoring Direct Support Employees and ensuring coverage across shifts under the Residential Team Leader.

You will implement person-centered plans, assist with daily living activities, promote dignity and quality of life, and encourage independence while maintaining safety and compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a High school diploma or GED.
• Prefer experience working with IDD individuals.
• Must have a valid driver’s license (this is a condition of employment).
• CPR and First Aid certification, Med Tech and NCI certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist people supported to identify personal outcomes and supports needed.
• Support in daily living activities and community integration.
• Ensure cleanliness of group homes and vehicles; monitor maintenance needs.
• Provide mentorship and training to Direct Support Employees.
• Ensure safety, dignity, and quality of life for people served.
