Job summary

RHA Health Services, LLC is seeking a Direct Support Professional - Waiver for a full-time 2nd shift in North Carolina. You will support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in community and home settings, implementing Centered Plans and advocating for client goals.

This entry-level role requires compassion, reliability, and the ability to wear many hats as part of a care team. A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license are preferred; benefits are provided

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license may be required for transportation duties.
• Some computer skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote healthy living and prevent illness and accidents.
• Accompany people to work, activities, and community outings.
• Teach independent living skills and daily living tasks.
• Provide transportation to appointments when needed.
• Document the care you provide and maintain records.
• Protect confidentiality and advocate for client rights.
