Job summary

00 RHA Health Services, LLC seeks a Direct Support Professional to provide compassionate, patient care to individuals with IDD and mental health challenges. You will mentor staff, ensure coverage across three shifts, and support residents in daily activities and community integration.

The role emphasizes dignity, respect, and quality of life, with opportunities to train new employees and contribute to person-centered plans. CPR/First Aid and other certifications are required or pursued as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with IDD population preferred; at least 1 year.
• Valid driver's license and personal vehicle insurance.
• CPR and First Aid certifications; Med Tech and NCI as required.
• Clinical supervision may be required depending on service.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to identify personal outcomes respecting dignity and life goals.
• Assist with daily living, meals, grooming, safety, and transportation.
• Maintain staff coverage across three shifts as scheduled.
• Provide mentorship and training to Direct Support Employees.
• Document incidents of abuse, neglect, or exploitation immediately.
• Ensure home cleanliness and vehicle upkeep.
• Promote community integration and social opportunities.
• Assist with medication administration according to policy.
