Job summary

Allstate Corporation is seeking a Direct Sales Agent Specialist who drives growth by acquiring new business, cross-selling existing customers, and building lasting relationships. You will engage local customers in person and by phone, generating leads and referrals while expanding the book of business.

You will work with leadership on sales initiatives, stay current on products and underwriting guidelines, and maintain a high standard of performance, compliance, and customer experience.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience.
• P&C licensing preferred or must attain licensure within 90 days of joining the company.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve sales goals through new business, cross-sell, and retention.
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline, including local lead generation and referrals.
• Develop relationships within the community (e.g., dealerships, events, local partners) to support business growth.
• Conduct outbound prospecting and follow-ups to convert opportunities into sales.
• Partner with leadership to support sales and local marketing initiatives.
• Stay informed on products, underwriting guidelines, and market competition.
• Deliver results aligned with performance standards, compliance requirements, and customer experience expectations.
