Universal Energy Solutions is hiring Direct Sales Representatives in New York to transform your people skills into a career. You will work with local business owners to review energy plans, present competitive supplier options, and tailor solutions to fit each customer’s needs.

You’ll train with mentors and build relationships as you grow. In this entry-level role, you’ll be mentored by Account Managers, learn the proven sales system, and have opportunities to advance into leadership positions

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable meeting with business owners face‑to‑face.
• Preferred: prior experience in sales, customer service, retail, hospitality, or another customer‑facing role.
• Self-motivated with strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet face-to-face with business owners and decision-makers.
• Review current electricity and natural gas supply plans.
• Help businesses identify opportunities to reduce their energy costs.
• Recommend competitive energy supplier options based on each customer’s needs.
• Build relationships with prospective commercial customers.
• Learn our proven customer consultation process alongside experienced mentors.
• Travel throughout an assigned territory (typically within a 30‑mile radius of the office).
